Mongenthaler-Chiariello Research Grant for Environmental Research.

Excited to announce that T. Bertie Ansell and Deborah Narh are the inaugural recipients of the Mongenthaler-Chiariello Research Grant for ecological research at the Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve ('Ootchamin 'Ooyakma). 

Ansell and Narh will work with a team of researchers to identify microbial communities in key forest ecosystems coupled to remote sensing of environmental data. This work will help inform how ecosystems are shaped by key microbial players and how forests are affected by environmental disruption.
